Decoy opens this four-track collection from the king of Dark Ambient, Immundus. Immediately, I recognize the familiar sounds. The deep and dark bass is ever present. Decoy is severely cheerless, hellish and unsettling. It certainly sets the mood for the rest of the collection. There is a good mix of ambient sounds, which add even more to the almost Satanic and creepy ambience.
Sublimation at Zero Hour is a chilling piece to be sure. It opens with the distant and haunting screams of lost souls, perhaps. There is a deep sadness to Sublimation at Zero Hour. The music is both sombre and depressing, which fits the mood perfectly. The ambient sounds are disturbing when it reaches the middle of the track. For some reason, I see Nazi soldiers and their abject victims. A very thought-provoking track, magnificently delivered.
The Mother of Echoes has a gradual entrance and buildup. The Immundus ambience soon kicks in to give a very eerie atmosphere that will travel round your room. The bass is there but The Mother of Echoes is very much about the ambience and varying sounds. I found this one rather disquieting. It creates bleak images in my mind. There is almost an expectation of doom and horror to follow. The Mother of Echoes would be great in a really sinister horror movie.
My absolute favourite is the closing track, Repentance of Midnight. It is such a delicate and unearthly sound. The music seems to stay just beneath the surface. The ambient sounds very gently move in and out of the mix. Yes, it is disturbing and chilling, in true Immundus style, but I found Repentance of Midnight alluring. It is strangely peaceful.
Immundus delivers a fine little collection here. He gets into the mind and kicks it around a lot with his disturbing bass lines, haunting sounds and eerie atmosphere. The Method Learned II is far darker and more sinister, in sound, than Haunted Memories. There is a desperately depressing bleakness surrounding this wonderful creation of darkness. I do feel very relaxed after listening to The Method Learned II, but also like I have been taken to a very horrifying place that unnerved my mind.

With THE METHOD LEARNED II presents us with the Norwegian project with Portuguese roots, a top-class free download. The Kooperationsfreudigkeit is emphasized at this 4-track EP. Sun participated in these titles with the wonderful Drones and the ritual-like sound in addition to shreds of NAUSEA and IN(S)CISSORS and Mr KLINGWALL.
Umgeistern on a highly professional level, deep and profound sound collages that (not only captivate but also enchanted "- the little byway to mention the album HAUNTED MEMORIES also 2009) could be forgiven at this point.
A personal highlight is the title SUBLIMATION AT ZERO HOUR: images which appear inevitably on a non-existent film that could have sprung from the genre ghost movie. Ambitions for this anecdotal, cause the most threatening and emotional tone formations giving each listener something different.
THE METHOD LEARNED Total II looks more like a soundtrack, which carries no negative overtones - on the contrary, such images are able to fascinate a lot more than the cobbled together monstrous experiments and many other projects.

We are back again with the latest offering from Immundus, "The Method Learned 2" E.P is based on the written works of G. James Wyrick.
Immundus offer's the same haunting style as he has on his previous E.P's. I like Immundus because of his ability to give something unique and almost evil in a way, back into the horror movie scene of which you are the star.
Certainly atmospheric by any means and full of surprises that make you look out the corner of your eye. That's what i love about this E.P it's interesting, there's always something different every time you listen to it, especially with "Sublimation at Zero Hour" and "The Mother of Echoes" you don't realise how long the tracks are as your waiting in anticipation to hear what's coming next rather than when the next track is coming.
Once again Immundus offers more beautiful Dark ambience put together in a spectacular fashion.
